Flash was a farm dog
|
Flash was the first dog I remember from puppy to old age in the late 1970's. We lived on a dairy farm in NZ and Flash would run beside the motorbike and try to bite the tyres and usually managed to do it. At least thats what I recall from sitting on the back holding the billy can as we motored home from the cowshed.
The first dog I remember was Tan who was Flash's dad. Tan had been with our family on the farm my Dad was sharemilking on before we moved back to the family farm when I was two. Tan had a brother Tip who disappeared just before we moved and was never seen again. |
