Burrum River Retreat is set on 400 acres of sheep and beef grazing land and is nestled at the foot of rolling green Otway hills, that from the top offer breathtaking 180 degree ocean views. This beautiful riverhouse has full access to the beautiful Barham River which is lined by huge gum trees and meanders it way through the property.

Nestled only 3km from Apollo Bay, Burrum River Retreat offers the perfect secluded escape for couples and families wishing to explore the Great Ocean Road, Otway Ranges and beaches of Apollo Bay. Its location offers a peaceful country escape that is still within a few minutes drive from shops, cafes and restaurants.

Burrum River Retreat is a holiday experience for those who appreciate privacy, views of the river valley and surrounding countryside.

This spacious 3 bedroom river hideaway has a well equipped kitchen which features a slow combustion wood stove for heating the bathroom and bedrooms, spacious lounge with double sided Wood Fire (Coonara) and a balcony that overlooks the Barham River. The master bedroom features a Queen bed and an Ensuite with large corner spa. The second bedroom features two singles or king bed and third bedrooms has a set of single bunks. The main bathroom features a bath with shower.

All linen, towels, champagne, chocolates and gourmet nibbles are supplied for your arrival.

 

About our accommodation

Well behaved dogs are very welcome inside at Burrum River Retreat and receive a comfy bed in front of the fire, towels to wipe paws and bowls on arrival. The secure yard allows them to be safely left while you explore the area and a year-round dog friendly beach is only 5 minutes drive away at Marengo.
