dog weeing and sometimes pooing at night

20mth old lhoodle, last 6mths or so has started weeing and pooing during the night, in the house. he is abit of a sulky dog if he's not happy about something. was toilet trained, nothing has changed except he was desexed at 6mths. should we start from the beginning as have tried all else. thanks Andy

First I would ensure that there are no medical reasons for his behaviour (vet visit?) Secondly would look at his meal habits and times - and adjust those to minimise risk. Feed him 2x day and main mean in morning. Toilet him before confining @ night and put in area where accident is less of an issue. Sounds like attention seeking behaviour and therefore put away @ night without any fuzz and only make fuzz of him in morning when no accident. And yes, I would again start taking him to a place where you would like him to toilet. Overall reduce attention to reduce the sulking. Only give attention when you want to ? not when he wants to.
