DOG WETTING IN SIDE

I HAVE A TERRIER DESEXED DOG. I AM FINDING HE IS WETTING ON THE CARPET. HOW CAN I CURE HIM FROM THIS. I HAVE HAD NEW CARPET PUT DOWN AND COULDN'T BELIEVE THE STAINS FROM HIS WETTING. THANKS RHONDA CALLOW KINGAROY QLD

This looks like a dominance marking issue - which needs attention as it may get worse. The do sees the carpet as grass and the house as his territory and therefore 'marks' his territory as he would do the garden and on his walks. This can only be changed with stronger leadership approach from you. I think if you look at the archive menu on this section that you will find quite some suggestions related to the matter. If persists, suggest you get professional help. In the mean time, only bring him in when he has toileted (condition of entry) and try and take him on the leash to the same place (change his learned behaviour).
