Dogs Door Scratching - 14 week puppy

Our 14 week puppy spends the nights in the laundry and from 5:30am starts scratching at the door and whining to be let out. We ignore her until we are ready but are feeling the effects of lack of sleep. How can we stop this? thanks from looking haggard

ANSWER: Dogs Door Scratching
Dogs work on the sun light - the darker the room the better it will be and the less the puppy will scratch. Acknowledging it will only make it habit and that is even harder to cope with. If need be put some newspeper on the window, till the puppy settles for longer rest periods.
