9 week lab gone phyco, morwell (VIC)
I was in bed trying to settle my 9  week old lab/bull massive puppy  down when she bit me quite hard.  So I held her down as I have tried  tapping her on the nose and it  just makes her bite more. And I do  not agree with Hurting or smacking  animals.  Anyway way when I let  her up I gave her a pat and cuddle  as I went to Pat her she went  phyco and attacked me so my  partner grabbed her and also tried  to Pat her and she went absolutely  mental. I am really worried as I have a  one year old daughter and don't no  if I should keep the puppy now. I  have never seen a dog that  aggressive and I have been Aaround  them all my life.

Tapping on nose / holding down  would make pup fearful of hands as  not nice and would be risky for  child. Strongly suggest that you  change tack and ignore bad  behaviour and praise good  behaviour, eg ignore means no eye  contact, interaction, talk or  touch and let her be. She learn  that when she is good she gets  interaction and otherwise not.  If  persists get professional help and  move SLOWLY. Advise where you  bought pup as a good breeder would  want to know.
