Can't catch our dog to put her in the car

We are moving to another town and can't catch our dog to put her in the car. I'm afraid she will bite me, everyone suggests Benedril to knock her out "is this a good idea?"

Ummm .. would i be correct in assuming you live on a large property and your dog roams around? Sedation may be the best bet, although I would highly suggest that you speak with your vet first to get correct dosages etc.
