campervanning with my dog in Broome WA

I plan to visit WA next year and want to stay in Broome for 2 or 3 days. However, there are no caravan parks that take dogs! The nearest 'free camp' I can find is 15ks out of town and I don't want to have to pack up and drive in every day and I have no other transport. I know there are vets who board dogs, but the expense!!!.... Anyone with any ideas?

This is one of the problems that can be associated with devoted dog ownership! I am going a bridesmaid on the 16th December, and I had to book my Jimbo in to boarding about 4 months ago! Is there some sort of 'Broome' chat site of forum where you could put up a post? Or contact the tourism centre? I have searched www.dogsonholiday.com.au and it hasn't come up with anything.
