Black Russian Terriers - Specifically bred by Russian geneticists.
About my dog breed
Black Russian Terriers were first imported into Australia in 2001
This breed was specifically bred by Russian geneticists as a working dog capable of carrying out a wide range of duties similiar to those performed by Rottweilers and German Shepherds.
This is a large dog with some males weighing 60kg or more. They are very affectionate towards their owners, love to be inside the house with you and make good watch dogs. They do not lose their hair.
A Blackie must be trained. They enjoy working and require jobs to keep them mentally stimulated.
