12year old chihuahua + a cattle x mini foxie who is 3

I own a 12year old chihuahua + a cattle x mini foxie who is 3. The chihuahua is fine but we're having problems with the cattle foxie, mum has always told me to give it to a farm + although I love her to death + she has the most beautiful personalityI think it may be necessary because she's a very energetic dog.She does have a few behavioural issues which we're finding hard to manage + I do believe they are directly from her not getting enough exercise. I just want whats best for her and I think living on a farm/large property or with someone we can trust to giver her all the exercise and attention she needs might be the answer. Her and the chihuahua are quite attached would they find it hard being seperated + how would we deal with that? how can we be sure she goes to a trusting new home?

Answer: Don't know what to do, NSW
This must be difficult for you, although I do commend you efforts in trying to do the best for your beloved pooch. Firstly, have you tried a few trainers on for size? Have you considered hiring a dog walker to get in some more excersise? A good dog walker can be quite cost effective. Secondly, I wouldn't be sure how to gaurantee where your dog goes. All I could suggest is that you post a add on sites such a Ozdggy, gumtree.com.au or cracker.com.au and do the leg work yourself. You could also contact NSW Cattle Dog Association and see if they might be able to help in finding a new home. Good luck to you.
