Q: Cocker Spaniel, who has a liking to bite

Question: Won't Stop Biting
I have a 8 week old Cocker Spaniel, who has a liking to bite and chew on ankles, legs and hands, those sharpe teeth hurt!He has lots of rubber toys and things to play with, each time he bites I put a rubber toy in place instead, dose not interest him he drops it and persists with biting ankles, legs hands... please help

Answer: Won't Stop Biting
There is no other choice in this situation, but to be firm and strong. When you pup starts to nibble, very firmly say NO - and walk away, and ignore your pup for a few minutes. Your little pup is probably also teething. You may like to pay a visit to your local pet shop, to find some good raw hide or quality dried bones for him to chew on. Denta Bones are also good. Remember to be firm, and ignore the nibbeling. The more you struggle with him to stop, the more he thinks its a game, and fun!
