HI I have a Jack Russel she is 3 months old. She ate rat bait 2 weeks ago. She is fine still taking vitamin K. IS it normal for where the bruising to be for the skin to become pigmented? Thanks TOni

Most Jack Russell's do have pigmented skin. Generally dark brown and white colours. Possibly the bruising is fading, and pigmentation is forming at the same time, as your little girl matures. As rat bait is a anticoagulant it may have caused a little internal bleeding close to the skins surface, hence the bruising. If you are at all worried pls visit your vet.
