CATTLE X AGGRESSION TOWARDS OTHER DOGS, Brisbane (Qld)

I HAVE A 6 YEARS OLD CATTLE X. I HAVE HAD HIM FOR 3 OF THOSE YEARS. WHENEVER HE MEETS ANOTHER DOGS HE WANTS TO DOMINATE AND GETS QUITE AGGRESSIVE AND WANTS TO FIGHT. HOW CAN I GET HIM OUT OF THIS BAD HABIT AND SOCIALISE HIM WITH OTHER DOGS SAFELY.

Answer:
I have heard cattle dogs can be aggressive? But don't quote me! I am going to draw the conclusion that he is a working dog, and is displacing his eagerness to 'work'. Coupled with the fact he is most probably protecting you. You need to find a outlet for him. Something or somehow he can herd. If you can find your local Cattle Dog club, they may be able to offer such exercises and resources through their club meetings. Try this as your first point of call. Good luck!
