Scared staffy pup 9wks old Victoria melbourne

We just recently bought a 9 wk old puppy. She came from a house where there was not alot of human contact. She sits in her bed (box) and does not come out. She sleeps alot and when she goes outside she sits and whippers. Is she still getting used to us? She hardly eats too. PLEASE HELP

The poor little princess. 9 weeks is still very very young. She really shouldn't have left her mother until 8 weeks at least. Regardless, maybe she might like a nice hot water bottle wrapped up in a blanket in her box, this might remind her of her mumma. She will also need lots of gentle encouragement. At 9 weeks she defiantly needs to be getting certain supplements, more mature dogs can cope with not eating properly. The little ones can't. Speak to your vet ASAP about some supplements. She will indeed sleep most of the time at this age, although not eating properly could be making everything worse. Big kisses and cuddles to her.
