Leaving my Maltese Cross Shitzu Puppy

Just wanted a bit of advice, I have a Maltese Cross Shitzu Puppy she is 10 weeks old. At the present time she comes everywhere with me to work, shopping etc. Can you tell me whether it is OK to leave her at home when I go to work or out, or should she come with me? Or at what age would this be OK.

You have to tread careful so you don't create a problem with separation anxiety. At this age, you can leave her at home but for very short time frames. I would start as short as 5 minutes, and gradually increase as she grows. If you are worried about her being to young to be home alone, you could even ask friends to look after for a little while. Just make sure she is dependant on being with you 247! Separation anxiety is a big problem (Our Jimbo still suffers as we adopted him at the age of 2). Good luck!
