Hi Bec,Can you please help .i have a shihtzu pup 10 months old .I have been tol there is something to put on the eyes to keep them clean as under its eyes and face it has gone all brown. I do trim eye and face area.It makes it's little face not so cute.

There are some products on the market, although they can be a little hard around the delicate eye area. There is a theory that you can add teaspoon of white cider vinegar to your dog's drinking water to control new tear stains, some other home remedies include a drop of bleach and other ingredients. I'm not to keen on those ideas. As long as you are sure your pooch isn't suffering from a yeast or bacterial infection, I would be inclined to wipe the area with a warm and damp cotton wool bud daily and see if these cleans things up.
