My dog weed on me!!

Hi there, We have a 3 year old mastiff x boxer whom we got from RSPCA almost a year ago. Today he weed on my foot while I was talking to a friend who'd just come over. 2 months ago we moved next door to our friend and our dogs have dug under the fence and regularly play together. Why did he do this and how should I react if he does this again? Can I stop him from doing it?

Generally speaking, this can be a sign of ownership - in that your pooch is marking you. I wouldn't worry to much, very randomly i have been weeded on by dogs that I would least expect to wee on me! If it does happen again I would speak to your vet just to make sure there isn't bladder weakness or problem as it is hard to gauge over the internet. If it doesn't happen again I wouldn't worry to much about it. Just consider it a sign of love and devotion!
