Question: Siberian Husky Advice, Perth WA

Hi, I have a 3 yr old siberian husky crossed with a heeler and will be moving into a new place soon, my home at the moment allows her to go inside and outside throughout the day but in the new place while I am at work she will be outside most of the day without the luxury of coming inside, is there any advice you can give for this transition so she doesn't freak out to much as she has is very strong willed and afraid she may do some damage to herself and the screen doors. Thanks

Crate training! Crate Training! Crate Training! This is the answer to all your questions. There is a heap of information available on the internet regarding this technique, and not enough room for me to detail it all here! In a nut shell, crate training provides your dog with her very own ?happy place? where she can feel safe and secure. It is very different to the traditional kennel. Ideally you would start your crate training before you move. For more information please contact me at info@pawsonpaths.com.au and I would be happy to assist further.
