my dog poos and pees on my bed Perth Australia

I have a real problem with my heinz variety dog. there have been three time now where i have left my bedroom door open and he has both urinated and defecated on my bed. I cannot see a reason behind his behaviour. He does at times have some form of separation anxiety when we leave the house. I have seen many times from a distance where he circles the inside of the house. Other than this he is a very well trained and obedient dog. is this a form of dominant behaviour and how can i combat this when i am not at home.

Very simply, I think he assumes he is the master of your domain. I am not apposed to dogs being on beds, my Jimbo is currently out to the world with his head on my pillow! Although weeing on it is taking it way to far. You're bed has to become off limits UNLESS he is invited. He can be on there when you say so, and not vicer versa. Get him his own bed, to have possibly in your room. If you leave him in the house alone, close your bedroom door.
