My Garden & My Cavoodle
I have an 10-month-old Cavoodle name Dylan. He has this tendency to cut, dig and remove plants from my garden. I have bought products to spray on the garden but he thinks its funny and goes back in. How do I discipline him to not keep doing this. Look forward to hearing from you. Cranky Gardener

Answer: My Garden & My Cavoodle
I wonder if this also another problem due to environmental enrichment. I know some very lively Cavoodles, and given a chance they would turn on themselves! Stuff your back yard full of toys, bones, a sand pit, treats and anything you can find. The key is to really spend time playing with him and these toys. Let him know that these are his play things, and give him 5 minutes time out when you catch him digging your plants. Make sure he is getting plenty of excersie.
