hi my 8mth old jess the jack russell has just been diagnosed with leg calve parthes disease do you recommend we get her operated on now or wait till she is fully grown she hardly uses her leg at all now we have tried a month on anti inflammatery with no help now someone has suggested 5ml of noni juice twice a day may help she doesnt seem to be in pain but i dont know the best route to go your help would be much appreciated kindest regards maggie brimble

Poor little Jess. If your Vet agrees, I would opt to have it done sooner rather than later. From what I know it can lead to sever arthritis? Most animals are really good at hiding pain. In my time I have seen some horrific injuries, in which the patients did not display much distress. I think her changes for a speedy recovery will also be greater, the younger she has the operation performed. This discussion should really be advisable by your Vet. Maybe you could seek a second opinion?
