Sheep dog is biting and pulling the fur off my female dog

My male shetland Sheep dog is biting and pulling the fur off my female dog. What can I do to stop this problem

There are a few things that could be going on here. Firstly it maybe your Shelti thinks he is doing his sister a favour, and it has formed a lasting and nasty habit. As Shelti's are so smart, it could also be a boredom thing. Firstly, I would get them both looked over by the vet - to be on the safe side. Try and replace chewing habits with fun play time with a new toys. Hopefully this may break the habit, or you could offer nice fresh bones or treats to chew on? There may be a product on the market that you could spray on the coat that would tasty yucky when licked or chewed on. Check that with your vet.
