Labrador intense allergies - Maitland NSW
I have a Labrador 5yrs & has had skin irritaions since he was a pup. At first we were told it's not uncommon for pups to outgrow their alleries & so we just treated reactions as they came with prescribed lotions & or pills. We moved house & he became an outside dog (at this time we got another dog who has had no problems), we noticed his reactions flared & after trying to identify his allergy by an elimination process we had a blood test done. He has shown high allergic reactions to almost all the tested sources & now he is on a "tolerance" program which is only 5 months from being completed. In the past 3 months he has shown a decline in mood, his hair has thined more, his skin is red in some places, black in others & dry and flakey constantly. Is there any herbal or natural remedies worth trying, despite most of his allergiey being to plants, pollen & grass seeds

Answer: Intense Allergies Maitland NSW
This just sounds all so sad. Unfortunately I can't think of anyone or anything I can suggest. Although I do agree with you that natural therapies are defiantly worth looking in to. I would look in to this further. Maybe try contacting specialist vets in Sydney and see if that can give you any good leads. I know there are one of two Vets who offer natural therapies in Sydney, although I have no idea who or where they are!
