my dog has a very nasty streak on minute you could be strocking him the next he can have a hold of you. he pulls on his lead all of the time and doesn't listen to anybody. could you please help as i fear i could lose him

The issues you have brought up sound really broad, and could be due to quite a few factors. It sounds as though you need to gain control over your dog rather than having him run the show. I would suggest that you speak to your local Vet about a referral to a qualified Animal Behaviourist. I feel this would be the best avenue for you.
